Tommaso Ciampa's WWE-AEW Timeline Clarified

Fightful Select has clarified the timeline of Tommaso Ciampa's WWE departure and AEW debut, debunking earlier reports that he could have appeared on January 21.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, sources confirmed that Ciampa couldn't have appeared on the January 21 episode of "AEW Dynamite" as he was still under contract with WWE at that time. By January 28, when he debuted, Ciampa had become a free agent.

Contrary to earlier reports that his debut was delayed due to weather conditions, Ciampa revealed in recent interviews that his AEW appearance came together at the last minute while he was on a family vacation in Texas. After his debut and winning the TNT Championship at "Collision," he returned to complete his vacation.
